I was looking for a new compact digital camera and research which one fit best. The F70EXR was chosen for its big zoom and advanced features.

The F70EXR follows in the previous low light series like the F20 and F30 models. The F70EXR is a compact camera that features 10x Optical Zoom. The camera lacks a viewfinder instead having a large 2.7 inch LCD.

The Fujifilm F70EXR has more advance features that your normal point and shoot. So there is a slight learning curve compared to some digital cameras. But even with the auto settings the F70EXR will produce good quality shots.

The F70EXR uses a rechargeable lithium battery and can take 230 shots per charge. The Finepix camera is not the smallest digital camera you see but it's not bulky either. The camera is made of mostly metal with some plastic parts. This is one sturdy camera that is built to last.

The camera is best at ISO 100 and 200. At 400 you can still take decent midsize print shots. Anything above ISO 400 is not going to look very good.
The biggest negative for this camera is the movie mode. You can record 640 x 480 at 30 frames/second (with sound). I don't record video with my camera so this is no big deal to me.

Overall this is a great digital camera that features tons of various settings. You’re going to be 100% happy with this camera. The big zoom and high build quality and images are well worth it.
